Milwaukee Bucks Name Former All-Star Blake Griffin as Head Coach

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially appointed former All-Star Blake Griffin as their new head coach. Griffin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, having been an NBA All-Star for six consecutive years.

The Milwaukee Bucks have made a big move in their coaching staff, appointing former All-Star Blake Griffin as their new head coach. Griffin, who was drafted first overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2009, spent 11 seasons in the NBA with the Clippers, Detroit Pistons, and Brooklyn Nets before retiring in 2020.

Griffin is no stranger to success on the court, making six consecutive All-Star appearances from 2011 to 2016. He also won the Slam Dunk Contest in 2011 and was named Rookie of the Year in 2010. During his time in the NBA, he averaged 21 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game.

In a statement released by the Bucks, team president Peter Feigin said that Griffin was the perfect fit for the job. "We are thrilled to welcome Blake Griffin to our organization," Feigin said. "He has proven himself to be one of the most talented players of his generation and we believe he will bring that same level of excellence to his role as head coach."

Griffin is excited about the opportunity to join the Bucks and lead them to success. "I'm honored to be joining this historic franchise and I can't wait to get started," he said. "I'm looking forward to working with such a talented group of players and coaches and bringing my own experiences to help build something special here in Milwaukee."

The Bucks are hoping that Griffin's leadership will help them continue their recent success. They reached the Eastern Conference Finals last season and are expected to make another deep run into the playoffs this year. With Griffin at the helm, they could be poised for even greater heights.
