Philippine golfer Jay Jaraula has earned his first professional title after a commanding performance in the ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge. The 24-year-old shot a final round of four-under 68 to finish with an overall score of 16-under 272 and claim the five-shot victory.

Jaraula's impressive performance was highlighted by back-to-back birdies on the 12th and 13th holes, as well as a chip in eagle on the 15th hole. This was enough to hold off his closest competitors, Jobim Carlos and Clyde Mondilla, who finished tied for second place at 11-under 277.

This win marks a major milestone for Jaraula, who had previously only competed in two professional tournaments prior to this event. He is now set to receive a full exemption into the 2021 Asian Tour season, which will give him the opportunity to compete against some of the best golfers in Asia.

Jaraula expressed his excitement after the win, saying “I am so happy right now. I can’t believe it! It’s been a long journey but it was all worth it. I am grateful for all the support I have received from my family and friends and I am looking forward to competing on the Asian Tour next year.”

The ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge was an exciting event that saw some of the best golfers in the Philippines compete for the top spot. With his commanding performance, Jay Jaraula has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with and we look forward to seeing what he does next in his career.
