– Walang takas sa regulasyon! The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) has flagged the Philippine Padel Association (PPA) for allegedly holding a high-stakes Padel Tennis tournament—complete with a hefty prize pool of ₱780,000—na walang permit.
The letter also stressed that permits must explicitly state event details—venue, date, and time—para malinaw ang usapan at maayos ang koordinasyon. Pero mukhang na-shortcut ito ng PPA!
GAB Resolution No. 98-10, which reinforces the agency’s regulatory mandate, was also invoked to stress their supervisory authority. Now, PPA is expected to explain the oversight—or face further consequences.
